america is in the midst -

of civil war - 

it’s amazing - 

it’s like climate change - 

the pan of heating water - 

the engaged civil war over our institutions - 

a cancer-

 using the immune system -

to take over -

the system it’s protecting -

grateful in this moment - 

this space-flight of a life - 

from mystery to mystery -

a requisite -

Pondering the effort -

the sadness -
